This expertly re-mastered CD of The Compinsky Trio, with Noëlle’s father, violinist Manuel Compinsky, and his brother, cellist Alec Compinsky, and sister, pianist Sara Compinsky features two very important and historical recordings from 1945/46: the Rachmaninov Elegiac Trio in D minor and the Shostakovich Trio in E minor. With audio restoration by Lance Bowling of Cambria Master Recordings, this CD was released in 2001, honoring the 100th birthday anniversary of Manuel Compinsky.
